Hi My name is Adam and I am a Photographer/Videographer based in, and from Coventry  I do a variety of photography, including live music gigs and band promo photography, The Natural World (i.e. flowers, shrubs e.t.c.), buildings, landscape and drone arial videography and photography.

I have been doing photography since I was 7 years old my first camera was a Pollaroid instant camera, when I was 10 my parents brought me a Kodak 35mm point and shoot camera, when I turned 16 I brought an Olympus OM10 SLR 35mm camera for when I started College, Which I currently still use to this day depending on the project.

Most of my early photographs of gigs and landscapes and other photographs have been taken with my Olympus OM10 SLR camera all framed and set by my eye, some of my pictures are on my past projects section of this site but I have the rest stored on my computer archives.

 

My current DSLR cameras are Nikon D7100 and Nikon D3200.

As well as photography I also have 5 years Radio Broadcasting, Production Technician and Presenting too, I also have basic research and script writing(Mainly Radio) experience 2017 to 2022 this was achived during my time at UG:Media (United Global Media) Which is an internet Radio Station based in Coventry UK with the URL theug.media.

 

Adding to this experience back in 2004 to 2005 I used to be part of Hillz Radio a community radio station based in Hillfields Coventry, I was a Co-Presenter and Production asistant for one of the shows that broadcasted on the RSL(Restricted Service Licence) when it was a live FM station. Hillz Radio started as an Internet only station under the URL thehillz.net (no longer works) then twice a year the station was granted a short term RSL(Restricted Service Licence) FM radio(102.6 FM) licence from OFCOM to broadcast further around Coventry for 4 weeks over Summer and Christmas Holidays, Hillz Radio now has a full Community Radio Licence and goes under the 98.6 FM frequency and a full domain www.hillzfm.co.uk/. 

 

Education: I Studied GNVQ Intermediate Media Studies at Henley College Coventry from September 1997 until June 1998 then stayed on for another two years until July 2000 continuing my studies up to Advanced GNVQ Media Communication and Production, during my studies,

I did another optional unit in City and Guilds Photography where I obtained a recognised qualification and passed with a Merit, in this field of the media, which I have always enjoyed.  I also have a qualification in Sound Engineering and Studio Production OCN Level 2. 

 

With already a wealth of skills and knowledge I thought that it would be a great idea to gain recognised certificates in similar areas.

 

Experience: I have over 20 years experience within most aspects of Photography, Video and Audio Production.

Some of the areas include Band Gig Photography for local bands and new up and coming bands which are my strongest and most experienced areas, when they perform around the local venues in Coventry and Warwickshire as and when they do, which I enjoy doing very much.

 

Other areas that I have got some experience in include Landscape and Flowers photography I enjoy these areas immensely. Other areas of photography, Include Nature, Arial Potography using my DJI Mavic Air 2 and  My DJI Mavic Air 2S this area is now hitting over 2 years experience.

 

In Conclusion: Overall I have a very good understanding of different aspects of Photography, Video, Audio incl planning , production, Editing. Audio incl planning production and post as well as Radio Broadcasting.

 

I am always trying new areas to expand and increase, my plethora of knowledge and experience.
